RDF is produced from combustible components, also known as MSW or Municipal Solid Waste. Mailhem takes this waste from industrial or commercial sites and converts MSW into RDF using processes like homogenizing, drying, segregation, size reduction, densification.
RDF is a renewable energy source to ensure that waste doesn’t get dumped into a landfill but is instead put to good use. Mailhem uses a primary crushing system to homogenize combustible materials above 100mm. It is then shredded in a secondary shredder to produce fluff. Many industrial leaders use this fluff as a boiler fuel instead of coal to ensure a greener and sustainable approach.
