Mailhem Engineers Pvt. Ltd. was promoted in 1995 by Mr. Vishwas Gokhale, Lt. Col. Suresh Rege (Retd.) and Mr. Sanjay Deshpande. In the initial years, the company concentrated on R & D work to develop High rate Biomethanation technique using Modified Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) Process to treat solid waste having large percentage of suspended solids such as canteen, vegetable, poultry and slaughterhouse wastes. Slowly but surely, the technology was scaled up and number of plants were set up at Industrial houses viz. Bajaj Auto Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Certificate/Letters from Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (Maharashtra State Nodal Agency), Central Pollution Control Board under Govt. of India and The Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) - United Nations regional institution, substantiate our claim of having successfully set up Biomethanation Plants on various substrates.

Anaerobic Treatment:

Over the years, we have indigenously developed Modified Upward Anaerobic Sludge Blanket technology to treat all types of solid & liquid waste having large percentage of suspended solids to generate Biogas, good quality organic manure & treated wastewater, within the permissible norms set by respective State Pollution Control Boards. Depending on the total quantity of Biogas generated, it can either be used as fuel in lieu of LPG or to generate power using 100% Biogas Generator sets.

Today we are a leading Technology provider (consortium) to offer our unique integrated MSW Treatment with combination of Biomethanation (Wet/Green garbage), Refuse Derived Fuel (Combustible Waste), Compost (Mixed Organic Waste) and Scientific Landfill (Inerts).

We have a design office, branch offices, fully equipped manufacturing set-up and in-house R & D facilities to successfully test and assess the treatability of specific solid and liquid waste. We can act during all stages of a project manager, consultant, designer, construction supervisor or as turnkey contractor.
